McMat2005 will be held in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on June 1-3, 2005, at the Holiday Inn Select. Activities will be hosted by Louisiana State University, the flagship educational institution of the state of Louisiana. Boasting both land and sea-grant status, it is one of the leading research universities in the nation. Home to flavorful cuisine and a refreshingly unique culture, Baton Rouge is just upriver from the popular tourist destination, New Orleans. 

The Holiday Inn Select will be the McMat2005 conference hotel. This hotel features a 24 hour business center, a complimentary 24 hour gym, restaurant, lounge, gift shop, pool, and sundeck. The plaza level offers private lounge & concierge service 6am-10pm Mon-Fri with continental breakfast and evening turndown service with milk and cookies. Complimentary shuttle service from the Baton Rouge airport is offered by the Holiday Inn Select for hotel guests and is available by prior arrangement.
